Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming

At Mynoklen Hotel Casino Resort, we are committed to promoting responsible gaming practices and providing a safe, enjoyable gaming environment for all our guests. We believe that gambling should be an entertaining experience, not a means to solve financial problems or an activity that creates hardship.

We have developed a comprehensive responsible gaming program that includes employee training, self-exclusion options, and resources for those who may need assistance. We encourage all guests to gamble responsibly and to be aware of the potential risks associated with gambling.

1. Know the Signs of Problem Gambling

Problem gambling, also known as gambling addiction or compulsive gambling, is characterized by an uncontrollable urge to continue gambling despite the toll it takes on one's life. Some common signs include:

  • Gambling with increasing amounts of money to achieve the desired excitement
  • Being restless or irritable when attempting to cut down or stop gambling
  • Making repeated unsuccessful efforts to control, cut back, or stop gambling
  • Being preoccupied with gambling (e.g., planning the next venture or thinking of ways to get money to gamble)
  • Gambling when feeling distressed (e.g., helpless, guilty, anxious, depressed)
  • Returning another day to "get even" after losing money gambling
  • Lying to conceal the extent of involvement with gambling
  • Jeopardizing or losing a significant relationship, job, or educational opportunity because of gambling
  • Relying on others to provide money to relieve a desperate financial situation caused by gambling
  • Using gambling as a way to escape problems or relieve feelings of helplessness, guilt, anxiety, or depression

2. Responsible Gaming Guidelines

We encourage all our guests to follow these guidelines for responsible gaming:

Set Time Limits

Decide how much time you want to spend gambling before you start and stick to that limit. Take regular breaks to maintain perspective.

Set Budget Limits

Only gamble with money you can afford to lose. Set a budget for your gambling activities and never exceed it.

Leave Credit Cards at Home

Avoid bringing credit cards or ATM cards if you have trouble controlling your spending. Only bring the cash you've budgeted to lose.

Balance with Other Activities

Don't let gambling interfere with or become a substitute for friends, family, work, or other worthwhile activities.

Avoid Alcohol and Drugs

Substances can impair your judgment and lead to making decisions you wouldn't normally make. Stay sober while gambling.

Take Breaks

Regular breaks can help you maintain perspective and make more rational decisions about your gambling activity.

Recognize Warning Signs

Be aware of the signs of problem gambling in yourself or others and know when to seek help.

Seek Help When Needed

If you're concerned about your gambling habits, don't hesitate to seek help from professionals.

3. Self-Exclusion Program

Mynoklen offers a self-exclusion program for guests who wish to restrict their access to our gaming facilities. Through this program, you can voluntarily ban yourself from our casino for a specified period or permanently.

How to Self-Exclude:

  1. Visit the Casino Cage or Responsible Gaming Information Center
  2. Speak with a trained staff member who will explain the program
  3. Complete and sign the Self-Exclusion form
  4. Provide a photo for identification purposes

Once enrolled in the self-exclusion program:

  • You will not be permitted to enter the gaming floor
  • Your player rewards account will be deactivated
  • You will be removed from all marketing lists
  • Any attempt to enter the casino will result in removal from the property

Self-exclusion is a serious commitment. The minimum self-exclusion period is one year, and you cannot revoke your self-exclusion until the chosen period has expired.

4. Voluntary Limits and Controls

In addition to self-exclusion, Mynoklen offers other voluntary limits and controls to help you manage your gambling:

4.1 Deposit Limits

You can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits on your player account to control the amount of money you can deposit for gambling purposes.

4.2 Loss Limits

You can set limits on the amount you are willing to lose during a gambling session.

4.3 Time Limits

You can set limits on the amount of time you spend gambling on any given day.
